I recently completed a watercolor painting of a single columbine flower which was growing, despite the conditions, in my garden.My experience with watercolor technique is limited. I have taken a few lessons, but found the process frustrating. This painting started out as a doodle really, which took the stress out of creating a frame worthy piece of art. I actually had fun with this, and loosened up a little, especially with the background.
Jan, this is a beautiful work. The delicacy, and intricacy and the flow of colours combine to give you a dynamic painting.
